You will discover an important architectural heritage classified as a historical monument. Locronan,a former weavers’ town, now a town of craftsmen. The facades of the village have been seen in many films at the cinema. Every year Locronan la Troménie, a very popular procession beyond Finistère, takes place in Locronan la Troménie. This medieval town has a privileged geographical location. Indeed, it is a central point of many of Finistère’s must-see sites: the Pointe du Raz, the Crozon peninsula, Quimper, Douarnenez, Concarneau, the Pointe de Penmarch’, Brest. All these major sites in Finistère are less than an hour from the campsite! During your stay in South Finistère, you will have the opportunity to experience many festivals (the old ploughs, the Cornouailles festival in Quimper, the festival of the end of the world in Crozon, etc …). Lovers of hiking and mountain biking will also be delighted in our region: many PR, GR and mountain bike circuits start from the campsite (the GR 38 runs alongside the campsite).
